Pioneer Bankcorp, Inc. Holds Annual Meeting

Clewiston, Florida (06/18/2021) – Pioneer Bankcorp, Inc. (OTC Markets: PBKC) the holding company for First Bank, held their annual stockholders meeting on May 27, 2021. This year’s gathering of interested stockholders received the annual financial report, growth and expansion vision plans and elected their board of directors: Miller Couse, Morris Ridgdill, Earle “Chipper” Edwards, Karl Larsen, Tommy Perry, Jr., Bryan Beer, Carey Soud, Mary Beth Carroll, with Andy Higginbotham being the newly elected board member. Miller Couse will continue to serve as Board Chair.

Carey Soud, President & CEO of First Bank announced the promotion of Andrew Couse to Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. Andrew will continue serving as the chief operations officer and remain a key member of the executive management team. Since joining First Bank in 2005, Andrew has worked extensively in expanding his knowledge of the bank departments and coordinating branch expansions. This past year, his focus was primarily on the SBA Payroll Protection Program loans and delivering upgraded e-banking services to the Bank’s customers. After graduating from Clewiston High School, Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree from University of Florida. Over the years while working at First Bank, he graduated from the esteemed Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University (LSU) and then in 2013 completed his Master of Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.

In preparation for the 2022 Centennial Celebration there was a general discussion of anniversary events as well as past annual meetings. Additional celebration plans will be shared with customers and the community after the first of the year. A wine & cheese reception was held immediately following the annual meeting.
