Carey Soud has served as a Director since 2011 and previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer of First Bank until his retirement in 2024. With more than two decades of leadership at the Bank, he brings extensive experience in commercial banking, lending, and executive management.

Mr. Soud joined First Bank in 2003 as a Commercial Loan Officer and advanced through senior leadership roles before being named Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, he played a key role in the Bank’s growth and long-term strategic direction.

He holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Madison, Wisconsin.

Mr. Soud has been actively engaged in both industry and community organizations. His service includes involvement with the Florida SouthWestern State College Foundation, Gulf Citrus Growers Association, Florida Citrus Mutual, and Community Christian School. He has also served on the boards of the Florida Bankers Association and BancServ.

In addition, Mr. Soud is a Rotarian and is actively involved at Caloosa Baptist Church, where he serves as a teacher.
